The 23rd World Scout Jamboree is the event held in July - August 2015, and this page

is kept for REFERENCE PURPOSE only!.

Transport Information for Day Visitors

(Update) July2015

Shuttle bus service will be provided for Day Visitors between Shin Yamaguchi Station and the Jamboree site on the days listed below. This service will be provided free of charge for all Day Visitors.

Thursday 30th July, Saturday 1st August, Monday 3rd August, Tuesday 4th August, Wednesday 5th August

・Shuttle bus service for Yamaguchi Jamboree Festival is available for Day Visitors. This

 will operate from 8:30 to 18:00 in 20 to 30 minutes interval.

・The seat cannot be booked in advance. If the bus is unavailable, please consider

 using the JR Ube Line; arriving at the Ajisu Station, which is about 20 minutes walk

 from the Jamboree site.

・An extra train will depart the Shin Yamaguchi Station (JR Ube line) at 8:00 on 1st

 August as we expect to welcome many Day Visitors on that day.

 

 

Friday 31st July, Thursday 6th August

・In the morning, shuttle bus will depart Shin Yamaguchi station on the time shown

 below:

 8:30, 9:30, 11:30, 12:30

・In the morning, train will depart Shin Yamaguchi Station at:

 8:27, 9:14, 10:35, 12:00, 13:12 (Please refer to schedule below for more detail)

・Shuttle bus service for Yamaguchi Jamboree Festival is available, and will operate

 from 13:30 to 18:00 in 20 to 30 minutes interval.

・The seat cannot be booked in advance. If the bus is unavailable, please consider

 using the JR Ube Line; arriving at the Ajisu Station, which is about 20 minutes walk

 from the Jamboree site.

Wednesday 29th July, Sunday 2nd August, Friday 7th August

・There is no Day Visitor programme schedule on above days, therefore there is no

 shuttle service between Shin Yamaguchi Station to

By train

 - 20 minutes by taxi from Shin Yamaguchi Station (JR)

 - 20 minutes by walk from Ajisu Station (JR)

By airplane

 ー 20 minutes by taxi from Yamaguchi Ube Airport

 - Take train from Kusae station (JR Ube line) and get off at Ajisu station (JR Ube line)

 - Take bus for Shin Yamaguchi Station, and take shuttle bus to the Jamboree site8

Once you arrive at Jamboree site, please come to the Welcome Centre.
